We're so excited to be hosting these music workshops over the school holidays. It'll be oodles of fun. With combinations of music making, exploration, games, dancing, costumes, filmmaking, creative thinking... there'll be games and playfulness and instruments galore.

We get it — plans change! We’ve tried to keep things as flexible and fair as possible while making sure we can run great programs for everyone.
If you need to cancel
More than 7 days out
No problem — you’ll get a full refund.4–7 days out
You’ll receive a 50% refund.Less than 4 days out
Unfortunately we can’t offer a refund at this stage.
Changing your booking
Need to switch dates? You can transfer to another program (if there’s space) up to 3 days before.
We’ll always try to help if we can — so please just reach out.
If your child is unwell or something unexpected comes up
Please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll look at these situations case-by-case and may offer a credit or partial refund where appropriate (a medical certificate may be required).
If we need to cancel
If a program doesn’t go ahead (low numbers or anything else outside our control), you’ll get a full refund or the option to move to another program — whichever works best for you.
Afterschool & Homeschool Programs
Songplay offers after-school programs in Mullumbimby during the school term. The programs run for 8-10 weeks, depending on the school term, but can be joined at any point.
The program will be run for small groups to offer a more personalised experience whilst still capturing the magic of collaboration and creative connections.
Songplay services are available for all NDIS planned and self managed clients too.
The programs explore songwriting, recording, self expression, various musical genres and different instruments, recording techniques and mixing software, and so much more. It’s an absolute blast, and no musical experience is necessary.

RECORD AN ALBUM
Through 8-10 sessions participants are involved in every aspect of performing and recording a collection of original music.
Songplay has captured and recorded endless musical moments using the sounds of the room and it's participants... we can make music happen from anything!
Songplay also caters for those with musical experience who have always dreamed of recording their own music.
Participants can explore endless genres and styles, gain an understanding of recording techniques and improvise and learn on a wide range of traditional, electronic and non-conventional musical instruments. Songplay strives to tailor each session to the needs, interests and unique musical journey of each and every participant.
SONG WRITING
This 8-10 session project focuses on providing participants the opportunity to express themselves whilst creating and producing unique musical masterpieces.
Through a wide range of lyric writing methods (including Augmentative and Alternative Communication) original songs are crafted. Participants choose and perform the instrumentation using a range of instruments, software and loops. The artists involved have full control over the entire process all the way up to complete orignal mastered tracks.
At the end of every program, the participants are presented with a collection of their original songs.
